Bihar Flood Crisis: Ganga Surges Above Danger Mark, Roads and Villages Submerged
Bihar is facing a worsening flood situation as the Ganga continues to rise across several districts, with Patna witnessing the river flowing well above the danger mark. At Gandhi Ghat, the water level has reached 50.43 metres against the danger level of 48.60 metres, inundating steps, pathways and several low-lying areas. Around 2.32 lakh people across nine blocks of Patna district have reportedly been affected, while authorities continue monitoring river levels and embankments.
