Bihar Floods: Ganga Crosses Record Mark In Patna, Over 10 Lakh People Affected
The Ganga crossed its highest flood mark at Gandhi Ghat in Patna on Saturday as floods affected around 10.26 lakh people across 11 Bihar districts. The river reached 50.53 metres, one centimetre above the previous record, officials said. Authorities deployed rescue teams, boats and relief measures while warning residents in low-lying areas to remain cautious.
